Anchored and locked down with the precision percussion and drumming of DAVE GARY.Dave brings to Asiyah the percussive subtleties and statements that only a seasoned player can.

His career includes performances with multi-platinum bands The Buckinghams and Spiral Staircase and Dave has opened for such legendary performers as Styx, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepard, REO Speedwagon, Montgomery Gentry, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, The Offspring, Steppin' Wolf and the list goes on........

Dave is a very adaptable player and has been a freelance drummer and percussionist in the Phoenix, Arizona area for over thirteen years. Dave has played in numerous bands of different styles such as rock, funk, blues, jazz, country and calypso, reggae, oldies and several symphonic settings. In addition he also toured for two years with a top twelve drum an bugle corps being instructed by two of the most respected marching drum instructors in the country. "I believe this is where I gained my work ethic" Dave explains, "This was a highly competitive environment, and there were musical changes daily, I was expected to work very hard to execute these changes and perform them nightly.

"**The producer of Asiyah recently said about Dave...."Without Dave Gary there would have been no Asiyah, this wonderful music and CD's. Dave brought us the musicians and kept people working together in harmony. He is an inspiration and we all owe him a debt of gratitude."

The music of Asiyah has been flavored tastefully and to a large degree created by Lead and Rhythm guitar player MARK AGUIRRE.

Mark's technical flash and steady groove has been a mainstay to Asiyah's unique sound. From the beginning it was apparent that Mark brought with him the desire to expand the musical boundaries of the project with Asiyah. Mark has been playing gigs for more years than he cares to admit. His life is music and he puts all of himself into his playing!

Mark never plays it straight and you never know what to expect with his playing and his quick wit and humor. Mark has played with many local groups around the valley for years as well as with national rock groups and top 40 bands, such as Mr.Mr. before it was Mr.Mr.

Producer Bryan Riddle said about Mark " Without Mark I do not think the music would have been nearly as creative! He kept changing things until it was right and has a 'creative sense' that is not easy to find. When I say the band wouldn't exist without him I am speaking literally as he came up with the name "Asiyah". Thank you Mark for all of your input and hard work."

Asiyah keyboards and piano......CHARLES NEWTON ...Prior to Asiyah Charles was playing with "Rhythm Edition",a group called "Voice Along' and has toured the U.S. with other bands. Charles loves to perform at the local 'Renaissance Festival as a strolling minstrel.

He recently performed at the 'Gammage' in Tempe, Arizona and he sang the national anthem for the opening of an N.B.A. game. Whether in a 110 voice chorale, a 6 to 9 piece Madrigal ensemble, or a variety band, if there is music to be had and explored , he'll be there.

Asiyah's producer said about Charles "Charles brought a lot of energy to Asiyah and he always gave us more than we expected...Charles is a great player and very quietly added his personality to the music. Charles had the hardest job as most of the time it was the keyboards or piano that played the melody line on the songs and because of how the music is structured he had to be creative while being held to task by the notes the text gave him...

Charles did a great job and if you feel healing and joy from the music as we hope the text will bring out you can thank Charles for making it happen and for following the program exactly. Thanks Charles."

ALSO ON KEYBOARDS is Ted Belledin. For the songs "HE Breaks Our Yoke" with Asiyah. Songs "Meditate and Fear Not for HE is With Thee","Be Strong and of Good Courage" and "HE Leadeth Me" performed by Ted alone...Ted has been a professional saxophonist since he was 17. He has performed in China, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, and throughout the U.S. After graduating from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY,
Ted moved to Phoenix to attend ASU and earn an MA in Philosophy. Since then, he has become an in demand saxophonist and keyboardist in Phoenix.

The producer says "Ted is one of the best professional musicians I have ever worked with and the music he created is awesome."

Asiyah's Bottom line comes from one of America's best Bass players ORIN SCOTT. Orin came to Asiyah by way of 'The University of Cincinnati' Orin has over twenty years of musical experience playing blues, and funk on stages all across the United States, not to mention the time he has put in playing in churches featuring Gospel Music. Orin is the musical 'anchor' in Asiyah. One of the highlights of Orin's career was playing to 38,000 people at Firebird Lake in Tempe , Arizona.

Asiyah's producer said. "What can I say Orin was a blast and at the same time very serious about what we were trying to accomplish. When I asked for a blues template for one of the songs it was Orin who responded first with a 'Killer' baseline and the rest is history. Orin helped make this music the 'original' sound I wanted. Anyone could have done the same old 'classical' stuff and that's fine but I wanted something different and to a large degree Orin helped deliver more than I had ever hoped for. Thanks Orin."

MUSIC MIXING credit goes to SCOTT NOWAK.
The producer says about Scott's work. "The entire band and all people involved agree that Scott has the finest tuned mixing ear we have ever seen ?Heard? Scott took 'good' raw tracks of music and made them sound not just great but beyond what anyone thought was possible. Thanks Scott"

Final EQ and Mastering goes to David Shirk and SONOROUS MASTERING.

Bryan Riddle - Producer of Asiyah CD's

Bio. for Bryan Riddle (Asiyah's producer)

Many years ago before I discovered our Creator through Meditation I was dependent on alcohol and drugs most of my life. I had no guidance, NO direction and I was searching for a reason to continue living. I had not been raised with any spiritual awareness. My thought process was lacking in every area. I had no proper training as to how to live with my Creator. Unfortunately many parents spend more time teaching their children how to drive a car than they do talking to them about our Creator???

The CD we have created here has several tracks devoted to helping you achieve a true Meditative state and to experience Spiritual Healing of Mind, Spirit and Body. This music is something that naturally came to me in my evolution of growth and can help you in your journey to a more Spiritual way of life and a more successful life!!!

What follows is a recommendation from the producer of Asiyah to a lady that can help you raise your spiritual awareness to a level most don't even know exists?

Through the teachings of a fine lady by the name of Bess S. Permut I changed my life in every area. Spiritually first and then the financial just fell into place. The more I studied her books and applied them in my life the more my business grew (over ten fold) and the better I became at seeing the truth in my life. I was able to rearrange my whole life for the better.

I struggle everyday just like everyone else except for one very important thing. I don't think there is a Creator "I KNOW THERE IS A CREATOR". It is a hard phenomenon to explain but to know HE is with me every step of my life makes life so much easier and meaningful.!

Don't misunderstand when I say I struggle each day like everyone else I mean with everyday problems not with dependency. Are you kidding between producing music, marketing books, and running my own successful business I don't have time. I have found my purpose for living and that is what makes life worth living.
THE MINUTE YOU FIND YOUR PURPOSE THERE NO LONGER IS A STRUGGLE WITH DEPENDENCY!

You can also find a greater purpose in your life and be happy within yourself.......If I can anyone can. Believe me I haven't told you the half of my story so I know if I did it you can also!!!

My Creator is Your Creator also and that is why I know that what Mrs. Permut taught me will work for any one. It is about developing your own relationship with The Creator. It is about KNOWING HE is there with HIS guidance every moment even when we are in the PIt so to speak. Your Creator is as close to you as your breath but you must learn how to hear HIM? When you pray you ask for HIS help but have you learned how to listen for HIS answers?
MEDITATION IS THE GATEWAY TO HEAVEN!
It is the gateway to the answers and guidance HE wishes to give to you. Think about it what kind of Father would HE be if HE did not want to help HIS children? The problem is not with HIM it is with you "jamming the line' As Mrs. Permut says "How can the Father get through to you if your mind is never silent or still. If you are not listening??
Compare it to your best friend trying to call you but your line is busy? It doesn't matter how good the message is if they can't get through???"
You can use the Cd's as something to listen to as you follow Mrs. Permut's directions but for more extensive knowledge of How to Meditate Correctly, How to Visualize , How to have A True Guide to Everyday Living and How To Find Your Way Back Home go to Bess Permut's website and study her books and CD's. I promise you will NEVER regret it..... To get there click the 'Links to Others' on this page or type peshaonline.com into your address bar.
